Zipper Pouch (Press-to-Close)
Press-to-close zipper pouches feature a molded plastic zipper track (polyethylene or polypropylene) heat-sealed near the top of the pouch. The zipper uses two interlocking profiles that snap together when pressed. Most are designed with a separate initial seal below the zipper that's torn open on first use, keeping the product factory-sealed until the consumer is ready.
Zippers are one of the most requested features in flexible packaging because they extend the product's useful life after opening.
