From building brands to building better packaging

Before founding Paking Duck, Jason founded Doe Lashes, a direct-to-consumer beauty brand. He also founded Pughaus, formerly Wonghaus Ventures, through which he invests in consumer brands and eCommerce technology companies.

That experience shapes his approach to packaging: understanding how a product looks, feels, ships, and reaches the customer, as well as how those decisions affect the brand behind it.

Packaging experience

Jason’s work focuses on custom packaging, consumer brand development, and eCommerce operations.

Jason has worked in packaging for 5 years. His role with factories in Fuzhou, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou includes leading more than 7 local and international teams, overseeing product innovation, production coordination, quality control, and supply chain operations. His particular areas of experience include custom packaging solutions, packaging material sourcing, manufacturing processes, cost and pricing negotiations, production management, quality assurance, and serving global DTC brands.
