Vacuum Pouch
Vacuum pouches are made from nylon/polyethylene (PA/PE) laminates that provide the flexibility needed to conform tightly to the product after air is evacuated. The nylon layer contributes puncture resistance and oxygen barrier properties, while the polyethylene inner layer provides the heat-seal surface. Film thickness typically ranges from 3 to 7 mil depending on the application and product sharpness (like bone-in meat).
These pouches are a staple in food processing for fresh meat, cured meats, cheese, smoked fish, and sous vide cooking.
