Star-Shaped Tin
The star-shaped tin is a novelty container cut and formed from 0.23mm tinplate into a five-pointed (or multi-pointed) star profile. Like other specialty shapes, it requires dedicated tooling. The lid is typically a slip-fit design that nests over the body. Edges are rolled and food-grade interior coatings are standard.
Star tins are primarily used for seasonal and holiday packaging, especially for biscuits, chocolates, and gift assortments.
