Corrugated Box
Regular Slotted Container (RSC)
The Regular Slotted Container is the workhorse of corrugated packaging. It's made from a single sheet of corrugated board scored and slotted to form four flaps on the top and four on the bottom. The outer flaps are each cut to half the box's width so they meet at the center when folded. The manufacturer's joint (where the side panels connect) is sealed with glue, tape, or stitching, and the box ships flat until it's erected and filled.
RSCs work for practically everything: warehousing, e-commerce fulfillment, retail distribution, and moving.
