Rigid Box
Perfect Edge
Perfect edge (also called turned edge) boxes are built from rigid chipboard wrapped in a cover material, typically printed paper, specialty paper, fabric, or synthetic leather. The cover material is precisely folded over the edges of the chipboard and adhered to the interior lip, creating a clean transition with no exposed board. This wrapping process is similar to how a hardcover book is constructed. Corners are mitred before wrapping so the material lays flat without bunching.
The result is a box with a polished, seamless finish on all visible surfaces.
