Peel-and-Reseal Pouch
Peel-and-reseal pouches use a pressure-sensitive adhesive strip applied to the inner surface of the pouch near the opening. The consumer peels open the seal, accesses the product, then presses the opening closed again. The adhesive is designed to maintain tack through multiple open-and-close cycles. The initial seal can be a heat seal that tears away on first opening to expose the adhesive area.
This closure is popular for wet wipes, cheese slices, deli meats, individually wrapped snacks, and hygiene products.
