Rigid Box
Partial Telescope
The partial telescope shares the same two-piece construction as a full telescope, with a lid and base made from wrapped chipboard. The difference is that the lid only extends partway down the base walls, leaving a portion of the base visible from the side. This makes the box easier to open, lighter in weight, and more material-efficient than a full telescope.
Partial telescopes work well for taller products where a full-coverage lid would add unnecessary bulk.
