Flat Bottom Pouch
Flat bottom pouches (also called block bottom or box pouches) have a separate bottom panel sealed on four sides, creating a true rectangular base. Side gussets fold inward and are sealed along vertical edges. The result is a box-like structure with up to eight seal points that stands firmly upright. The laminate is typically multi-layer with barrier films selected for the product's shelf life requirements.
These pouches blend the structural advantages of rigid packaging with the material savings of flexible.
