Corrugated Box
Five Panel Folder (FPF)
The Five Panel Folder is a single cut-and-scored piece of corrugated board with five panels: two for the top and bottom, two for the sides, and a fifth panel that overlaps one side panel as the closing flap. You assemble it by wrapping the blank around the product and securing it with tape. When closed, the ends have several layers of combined board stacked up, which provides excellent end-panel strength.
FPFs are purpose-built for long, narrow, or oddly shaped items that would poke through the ends of a standard box.
