Exposed Shoulder Box
The exposed shoulder box is a variation of the standard shoulder neck box. It uses the same three-piece construction (base, inner neck tray, and lid), but the neck is taller so that a visible section of it stays exposed when the box is fully closed. The lid and base don't meet, and the gap between them shows off the neck wrap. This exposed band is the defining visual feature of the style.
Brands use the exposed section to display a contrasting color, texture, or printed graphic that adds visual depth to the closed box.
