Rigid Box
Drawer Box (Match Style)
The drawer box (match style) consists of two parts: a rigid outer sleeve and a sliding inner tray. The tray glides in and out of the sleeve the same way a matchbox works. Both pieces are made from chipboard (commonly 800 to 2000gsm) wrapped in paper. The sleeve can be open on both ends (true match style, where the tray pushes through from either side) or closed on one end with a finger notch or ribbon pull for single-direction access.
The sliding mechanism creates an interactive opening that feels more deliberate than a lift-off lid.
