Polymailer
Compostable/Biodegradable Mailer
Compostable mailers are made from bio-based polymers, commonly cornstarch-derived PLA (polylactic acid) or PBAT blends, rather than petroleum-based polyethylene. They look and function like standard poly mailers, with self-seal closures and adequate tear and moisture resistance for shipping. They're designed to break down within 90 to 180 days in industrial composting facilities.
These mailers carry certifications like BPI, TUV, or ASTM D6400, confirming they meet composting standards.
