Rigid Box
Collapsible Rigid Box
Collapsible rigid boxes use the same heavy-duty greyboard (2 to 3mm) as standard rigid boxes, but the panels are connected by precision-scored hinges and pre-applied adhesive strips (usually double-sided tape at the corners). This lets the box fold completely flat for shipping and storage, then pop into shape when needed. Magnetic closures embedded in the lid and front flap lock the box in its assembled form. Assembly takes under 10 seconds and requires no tools.
The main advantage is logistics: flat-packed boxes save up to 80% on freight and storage space compared to pre-assembled rigid boxes.
