Beverage Bottle
The Beverage Bottle is typically blow-molded from PET (polyethylene terephthalate), a clear, strong thermoplastic that doesn't alter the taste, smell, or properties of its contents. A 1-liter PET bottle weighs roughly 25 grams, making it up to 90% lighter than glass. PET provides excellent barrier properties against moisture and CO2 (critical for carbonated drinks), and multi-layer constructions with PVOH or polyamide can further reduce oxygen permeability for oxygen-sensitive beverages like beer and juice.
Beverage bottles are used for water, juice, sports drinks, tea, kombucha, cold brew coffee, and carbonated soft drinks.
