Tin-Tie Pouch
Tin-tie pouches have a thin, bendable metal wire strip (the tin tie) laminated into the top fold of the bag. After opening, the consumer folds the top of the bag down and bends the wire ends forward to hold the fold in place. It's a simple, mechanical closure that doesn't rely on adhesive or interlocking profiles. The pouch body can be kraft paper, poly-lined paper, or fully laminated film.
Tin ties are the classic closure for bakery bags, artisan coffee, loose-leaf tea, and bulk food packaging.
